Account Deletion

1. Overview

This page describes how you can request the deletion of your Bely Launcher account (developed by Modulaire) and the data associated with it, both on desktop and on the Android app available on Google Play.

2. How to Request Deletion

To request the deletion of your account and personal data, send an e-mail from the same e-mail address used to sign in to the app, to:

privacy@bely.my

Please include:

• Subject: Account Deletion Request
• The e-mail address associated with your Bely account
• (Optional) A short note if you want only specific data removed instead of the entire account

We will confirm receipt within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

3. What Data Is Deleted

Upon request, the following data will be permanently deleted from our servers:

• Profile data (name, e-mail, profile picture from Google OAuth)
• Account authentication tokens and sessions
• Whitelist records associated with your e-mail
• Personal preferences and settings stored on our servers

4. What Data May Be Retained

For legal, accounting, and anti-fraud purposes, some data may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form:

• Aggregated credit/usage logs (without personal identifiers) — retained for up to 12 months for billing and analytics
• Transaction records, when applicable — retained as required by tax law (typically up to 5 years)
• E-mail audit trail of the deletion request itself — retained for up to 24 months to demonstrate compliance

None of the retained data can be used to re-identify you after deletion.

5. Partial Data Deletion

If you want to remove only specific data (for example, your usage history) without deleting your entire account, mention that explicitly in your e-mail. We will confirm which items can be removed while keeping your account active.

6. After Deletion

Once your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to sign in to Bely with the same e-mail. Any active subscription or credit balance will be forfeited. You are free to create a new account at any time.
